"The Million Dollar Idea"

Great creative and comedic minds think alike. In 1954, the same year Lucy and Ethel devised "The Million Dollar Idea" (Season 3, Episode 15) for marketing Aunt Martha's salad dressing, "Grand" mother Elizabeth Bowman Ross and best friend, Lucille Hanton, began a short-lived but sweet production in the 55 Remsen Street kitchen, Brooklyn 2, N.Y.

"55" is a plain French oil-and-vinegar dressing persuasively spiced to bring out the delicious flavor of any salad. It comes in an attractive apothecary jar to use on the table. It's the personal recipe of an ingenious young matron, who at the insistence of her friends has packaged it for all to enjoy. Delicacies, Main Floor - Placemat Advertisement for B.
