A ten-year-old boy growing up in the 70s must write about
the most influential person in his life. He realizes he doesn't
know much about his family, and his research proves enlightening.
Traci thinks she's throwing a cocktail party for her closest
friends, but soon discovers the party is just for her
and that the "party" is over. A satiric look at
a group of people who stage an intervention for an alcoholic
friend, who turns the tables on them by using her own 12-step
program, leaving her with a Pyrrhic victory.
A random encounter with famous rock star Sammy Hagar has an
unexpected outcome in this short screenplay that pokes fun
at the nature of celebrity encounters, along with the Van
Halen legacy, while demonstrating that all anyone wants
is to be in pictures.
