Big Fish Fresh, charming, delightful. Suspend your disbelief, (as we must do in our lives). As Balanchine said: "Non-reality is the real thing."—KRM

Cold Mountain Beautiful scenery, fantastic music, especially in church's "space" singing. Renee got all of the good lines (and the Oscar). Horrific battle scenes. A great diatribe against war, and what it can make normal people do, and it certainly exacerbates the already nastiness of terrible people. Minghella talks of "tribalism" North vs South, and, even after all of these years, I found myself disliking Southerners, despite my own Southern roots.—KRM
